Blog Posts and Articles

I write blog posts and articles that tell your story.

I don’t need to be the expert in your field–that’s your specialty. My specialty is knowing the right questions to ask so that your story will be properly told.

Then I use my research, SEO, and writing expertise to create the perfect product in your voice, with your point-of-view.

If you don’t have the time or want to be involved in content development . . . no worries!

I’m a thorough researcher who enjoys writing about familiar subjects and learning about new ones. I cull all pertinent information so that your written product is current, accurate and complete. The result is a blog post and/or website you’re proud of and that your readers enjoy.

Subjects I write about include :

  • SMB (Small-To-Medium-Sized Business) Matters
  • Medical Spas
  • Website Development/Content/SEO
  • Digital Marketing
  • Technology and the Cloud
  • Consumer Health Issues for Doctors’ Blogs and Websites (Vein doctors, Neurologists, Orthopedists, Psychologists, Dentists, Orthodontists, Ophthalmologists, Dermatologists, and more)
  • Buying and Selling Real Estate
  • Residential and Commercial Landscaping and Hardscaping
  • Tree Care
  • Swim Schools
  • Music Schools
  • Veterans’ Affairs
  • Dog and Cat Breeds and Care

Website Content | SEO

Is your business website under-performing?

As your content writer, I will help change that.

A website needs a specific type of written content and SEO considerations.

If you’re not a web writer, it’s difficult to write great content–let alone use keywords and other SEO techniques effectively.

What web readers want

Your website should be all about your reader–what they want to learn about you, your company, or your service.

Quite bluntly, your website visitors aren’t there for you.

They’re looking for specific information to answer their question(s). If they can’t find it quickly, or you don’t give them reason to stay, they’ll leave.

Happy web visitors are engaged and interested.

They will:

  • Stay on your site longer
  • Be more likely to contact your business or purchase your product
  • Sign up for your newsletter
  • Follow your site’s call to action
  • Visit your site again and again

Your sales funnel will begin to fill.

Does your business need a purple cow?

Find out here.

Here’s a short whimsical video about the Purple Cow.

I was at a marketing seminar when I first heard about Seth Godin’s Purple Cow. I loved the image it conjured up as well as the marketing lesson: A business must offer something remarkable or it will always be one of the crowd.

About a month later, we created this whimsical video–just for fun!

It goes by fast, so there’s no time for popcorn. But I think you’ll enjoy the ride!

A drive through the French countryside reveals some unusual sights. Inspired by but not endorsed by Seth Godin.

Script by Laura Elton. Animation and voice-over by I. Washington. Including a cameo appearance by Bryn.
